A signed photograph of the late Queen Mary holding the infant King Charles lll at his Christening, accompanied by a covering letter to our vendors Aunt Miss C. Alexander (matron of the London Hospital that Queen Mary was Patron ) Signed Mary R Windsor 1948 . The ink has faded, however, the imprint survives.
Clare Helen Alexander, Matron of the London Hospital, married Sir Edward (John Mann, 2nd Baronet, ) at The Savoy Chapel,
when he was Chairman of the London Hospital.
