A large Victorian glass dome containing exotic birds in a naturalistic setting.
A display of taxidermy exotic birds and insects from South America amongst naturalistic groundwork and branches under a glass dome and on a round wooden plinth. The birds include a Pompadour Cotinga, Green Headed Tanager, Brazilian Tanager, Red-Capped Manakin, various Hummingbirds and others. Glass dome and base are complete. Some evidence of historic insect damage, most noticeably to the Pompadour Cotinga.
