A superb Victorian glass dome containing exotic birds in a naturalistic setting. A display of taxidermy exotic birds under a glass dome and on a round wooden raised plinth. The birds include Lesser Bird of Paradise, banded Cotinga, Scarlet Tanager, Purple Honeycreeper, Indian Pitta, Indian Roller, various Hummingbirds and others. Glass dome and base are complete, groundwork mostly lacking. Fading apparent on the bird of paradise, others have generally good colour to the plumage. One Hummingbird has damage to the beak. No obvious sign of any active insect infestation.
